Fight Training at the Lake of the Ozarks

Amateur kickboxing and Muay Thai fight training in Linn Creek, coached by a fighter who's walked the road. Sparring, ring craft, and fight-specific conditioning, whether you want to compete or just train like you mean it. First class free.

If you've got that itch, the one that says you want to find out what you're actually made of, this is where you scratch it. Real fight training, from someone who's done it.

The coach's fight background

This isn't a fitness instructor playing fight coach. The training here comes straight from years on the road, learning to strike under Chad Petty in Las Cruces, conditioning in the Colorado mountains, and sharpening ring craft under Wayman Carter in Lawrence. You're coached by someone who's lived the rounds, not read about them.

Who this is for

Anyone with a foundation in striking who wants to go deeper, whether your goal is an amateur fight, getting in true fighting shape, or simply training with intent. If you're brand new, we'll start you in kickboxing or Muay Thai and bring you here when you're ready.

Sparring and ring craft

Technique only becomes real when someone's trying to hit you back. We build controlled, progressive sparring, timing, distance, reading an opponent, and staying composed under fire. Sparring is always earned and always supervised.

Conditioning for fighters

Fights are won in the later rounds. We build the engine to match the skill with hard, fight-specific conditioning and real strength work, so you're still sharp when your opponent is gassed.

  • Technical sharpening of your striking and defense
  • Controlled, progressive sparring and ring craft
  • Fight-specific conditioning and strength
  • Honest, structured fight-camp preparation
  • Coached by a fighter, scaled to your level and goals

Questions

Fight Training FAQ

Do I have to compete to do fight training? +

No. Plenty of people train this way purely for the challenge, the conditioning, and the skill. Competing is an option if you want it, never a requirement.

Do I need experience to start? +

You need a foundation, so we usually start you in kickboxing or Muay Thai to build clean technique first. From there, fight training adds sparring, ring craft, and conditioning when you're ready.

How do I get ready for my first amateur fight? +

With a real camp: sharpening technique, structured sparring, fight-specific conditioning, and a game plan. As a coach who's been down that road, I'll prepare you honestly and safely.

Do you do sparring? +

Yes, controlled and progressive. Sparring is earned, never thrown at beginners. It's where technique becomes real, and we build you up to it at the right pace.
